From the 318 to the 337, 7eventh’s journey began with humble beginnings and a love for the one thing that was always there when everything else wasn’t music.

Growing up poor in Vivian, Louisiana, music was more than entertainment. It was an escape, an outlet, and a way to express the things he couldn’t always put into words. When he had little else, he had music. And beneath it all was a simple desire: to be understood.

Armed with little more than a broken recorder and an imagination, he began honing his craft, drawing inspiration from Drake, The Weeknd, Nas, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and the Southern sounds that surrounded him.

After leaving Vivian on a track scholarship, 7eventh eventually stepped away from pursuing music publicly. But the craft never left him. Through years of freestyling, writing, and sharpening his abilities away from the spotlight, he continued developing the artist he would eventually become.

Now, in his second home of Lake Charles, Louisiana, 7eventh has returned with a sound that distinguishes him from his Southern counterparts.

Atmospheric production, unexpected beat switches, sharp lyricism, and unmistakable Southern slang define his musical identity. His sound bridges the introspection of his influences with the confidence and energy of his Louisiana roots.

But 7eventh’s vision extends beyond his own music.

An independent artist and hands-on creator, he believes in sharing knowledge, helping fellow artists develop their craft, and building a community where creativity and collaboration can thrive.
